It seems that xbmc-12.2-7 wants to add the xbmc user to two groups that don't exist.

# pacman -S xbmc
...

probably I need to move udisks and upower from optdeps to deps

I thikn it will not solve current problem . cos i already have those but they dont have groups assigned to them (udisks and upower).

Yes, I too had them install prior to installing the xbmc package, see the output in my original post.

upower is installed but udisks not.

groups should be power and disk, not upower and udisks ...

According to https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Users_and_Groups and the previous xbmc installation it should be power and disk

Fixed in svn, but did not rebuild package because of it is warning

Why xbmc is in disk group ?! If there is a bug inside xbmc, xbmc could erase the partition table or anything else : this is a major security problem...
