Description:

When launching 32 bits programs through aoss wrapper on 64 bits architecture, some are crashing with signal 11.

I tested mainly on games:
Head over Wheels is working perfectly
Eschalon Book I is crashing
Epic Inventor is crashing

Recompiling the lib32-speex package solves the issue.

Additional info:
* lib32-speex-1.2rc1-4-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz from 2012-02
speex-1.2rc1-4-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz from 2013-10 (but mentioning the same version...)

Steps to reproduce:

Simply run on of these programs with aoss wrapper, recompile and try again.

Unless you have any indication that these problems are caused by packaging I'd suggest you talk to alsa-oss' or the games' upstream developers because I can't/won't fix them. Sorry.

Err...

A simple package recompilation (from the official PKGBUILD) fixed the issue...

Why should I involve alsa or game developers?

Oh right, missed that. I'll rebuild lib32-speex then.

Could you please test lib32-speex 1.2rc1-5?

I'll test it as soon as it becomes available.
