Details

Output of function MPDClient.state() no longer provides the 'xfade' property. This makes Sonata crazy: infinite reconnection for 'No Read Permission' reason. Simple solution in attachment.

There is another way to fix this problem (from sonata-gtk3 fork): https://github.com/multani/sonata/commit/6bea8bb instead of complete remove of xfade feature.

Since upstream for sonata 1.6 is dead we will never see this bug as fixed. Probably it should be fixed here.
