Description:
Without the package gnome-shell-extensions installed the background on dual monitor systems sometimes does not load and there are drawing artifacts of windows created there. Forums discussion: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1339062 Upstream report: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=709313 I wanted to report this here in case this is indeed a packaging bug, but I'm not sure yet. I also don't know why this gets fixed by installing the gnome-shell-extensions package. I don't see anything suspicious in the package's file list. Please feel free to close this report if you are sure this issue is entirely upstream. Additional info: * gnome-shell 3.10.1-1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Uninstall the package gnome-shell-extensions 2. Make sure there is more than one monitor attached 3. Log out of Gnome and login again |
