Details
With syatemd 208 journald no longer manages permissions of
journal files, instead relying on the journal directory to
be 2755 root:systemd-journal, which is enforced via
tmpfiles. However, in /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/systemd.conf only
/var/log/journal is mentioned, and. /run/log/journal is left
out. As a result, people who don't want journal on-disk
can't see it...
Adding something like m /run/log/journal 2755 root systemd-journal - - m /run/log/journal/%m 2755 root systemd-journal - - to /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/systemd.conf should fix the issue. Thanks, Leonid. |
