Description:
Current VLC (2.1.0-2) is not compiled with ffmpeg support, so you can't use, for example, ffmpeg demuxers, which are much better for video streaming. I tried to compile it with just --enable-ffmpeg flag and start with vlc --demux ffmpeg, but this is what I got: main demux error: corrupt module: /usr/lib/vlc/plugins/demux/libavformat_plugin.so VLC 2.0.8 works fine with ffmpeg. |
