Description:
Resume from Suspend-to-RAM does not work. There is some noise starts in the notebook and led indicators start blinking, the screen does not turn ON. I know, there are many possible reasons, but it worked with Catalyst, so, I think it has to be connected to video driver. Note: it's more than just a screen, I believe. E.g., I've tried to blindly press: Ctrl+Alt+F1, then Ctrl+Alt+Del (with working X it would start reboot process) -- nothing happened. Additional info: * package version(s) Well.. The issue is there for at least two years there (always have the last version). I was very excited to know that kernel 3.11 brings Radeon.DPM features (and it really helps!), but this issue still remains. * config and/or log files etc. 00:01.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] BeaverCreek [Radeon HD 6520G] X.Org log: http://bpaste.net/show/135669/ Please let me know what other info is needed. Steps to reproduce: 1. Suspend to RAM (using KDE menu); 2. Press power button to wake up (it is so configured). |
