chmod 644 /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/sipdistutils.py solves the problem of python's interactive shell from returning a Traceback ending with "IOError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/sipdistutils.py'" when doing for example a help> modules dictionary in the python interactive shell... yes i know it's a small thing.
