Details
Description: I have used many distros including Gentoo,
Ubuntu, and now Arch. My issue is with the amount of cpu
pulseaudio is using on Arch. I also had the same version of
it on another distro so it seems only specific to Arch Linux
in my case.
Additional info: pulseaudio-4.0 Config files are all default fresh install Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Mumble or anything accessing sound. 2. Pulseaudio will jump on its own to 16%. 1. Join a Google Hangout 2. Pulseaudio will jump to 22% by itself. |

Not much we can do here; this is an upstream problem. Try lowering
resample quality further and using a fixed point resampler.
