When pulseaudio is installed and passthrough is used, video plays too fast and there is no audio. There is also a ticket in the xbmc bugtracker for this issue: http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/14096 It seems that their pulseaudio support is not mature enough to properly handle passthrough. I have tried this with 12.0 through 12.2 and a git build from 07-08-2013 Steps to reproduce: run xbmc with pulseaudio installed, enable passthrough and play anything with ac3 or dts audio |

Putting it in /etc/profile.d solved the problem
