Summary and Info: Running `paccache -vrk 2` reports that it
deleted packages but I believe that they remain on my file
system.
pacman 4.1.1-1 Steps to Reproduce: 1) paccache -vrk 2 2) Inspect the contents of /var/cache/pacman/pkg to find >2 versions of packages. For example: % paccache -vrk 2 ==> Privilege escalation required xargs: Cannot open input file `/dev/fd/63': No such file or directory ==> finished: 37 packages removed (diskspace saved: 156.04 MiB) % find /var/cache/pacman/pkg -name 'linux-3*.xz' /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-3.9.2-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-3.9-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-3.8.11-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-3.8.4-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-3.8.6-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz If I repeat the remove command, I get the same output (report of removing 37 packages) which is different from previous version. In previous versions, the script reports nothing to remove. |
