Details

Description: cannot install haskell-mtl from Testing. Pacman reports that the Testing version is older than the local version.

Same issue for other haskell packages:

warning: haskell-mtl: local (2.1.2-26) is newer than testing (2.1.2-3)
warning: haskell-parsec: local (3.1.3-26) is newer than testing (3.1.3-3)
warning: haskell-text: local (0.11.2.3-26) is newer than testing (0.11.2.3-3)

These are warnings, not errors. They have nothing to do with any failure you're seeing.

you are using an unsupported repository, http://xsounds.org/~haskell/core/i686/ which has mtl 2.1.2-26
