Description:
need to kick hotkeys on release, not press https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=865 Additional info: It's an old beardy bug. There's a patch, but for some reason it's not included in upstream, but included in ubuntu/fedora implementations and in https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xorg-server-bug865/ Steps to reproduce: For example: setxkbmap -layout "xx,yy" -option "grp:ctrl_shift_toggle" Now you will not be able to complete any ctrl-shift-$LETTER combo, because xserver recognizes ctrl and shift press and triggers action. Could you please add the patch to the official arch packages? |

Fedora doesn't implement this patch. Upstream doesn't want to
include the patch because it breaks the spec and breaks apps using
that. We don't want to apply patches that are not approved
upstream and that are only included in ubuntu.
