DetailsSince [0] is implemented there is no need to add dependency to two ttf packages in vlc.

If the xorg server itself has a dependency on ttf-font it would probably help solving quite a lot of issues like this one.
sed -i -e 's:truetype/freefont:TTF:g' modules/text_renderer/freetype.c
sed -i -e 's:truetype/ttf-dejavu:TTF:g' modules/visualization/projectm.cpp
I have no idea why separate fonts were chosen for each or even why change it at all.
