Description:
A minimal install of kde (kdebase and phonon-gstreamer) will hang when a newly created used attempts to login to plasma-desktop for the first time. You still need another font package.
The way I would go about this would be to have kdebase-workspace require "ttffont" or something and have ttf-{liberation,dejavu,$OTHERSTHATWORK} provide that.
Perhaps depending on ttf-dejavu is a possible solution, then.
FS#32870for enlightenment which suffers from this as well.I think this should be solved globally. VLC solves this by having optional dependency on two ttf font packages, when essentially only one is needed.
I think it is very important to solve this problem
This is a severe bug. Please add ttf-dejavu as a dependency.
