The intel libva driver builds like a charm here, not to mention that we already have the binary package :)
Perhaps we can close this as resolved ?

I didn't receive a reply from gb.devel@gmail.com yet, but the 0.7.4-2 package includes a patch for this issue :
libva-vdpau-driver-0.7.4-glext-missing-definition.patch

So it seems the issue is resolved.
