xmobar 0.16 came out today, but this package says it's been at that version since the beginning of October. What gives?

Additional comments about closing:  I used to a git snapshot since they didnt tag 0.16 yet. Now it's using the tarball

Reading the PKBUILD, it looks like they used a git snapshot not the actual 0.16 release.
