Xchat development seems to be dead as you can see from this log: xchat.org/url/cia
I wrote to developers some week ago and i did not have answers so i think that the project is definitively dead.
A fork, called HexChat ( http://www.hexchat.org/ ) is out to continue the development of XChat so, is possible replace XChat with this in extra?
