Description:
Can't browse my samba shares after the system startup, but if try to access my share by IP (e.g. smb://192.168.1.2/) it works. Additional info: The system is up to date. I am using networkmanager. Steps to reproduce: Reboot the system and try to access the samba shares (I am using Dolphin in KDE). When everything is ok I usually can see the "Archome" and "Workgroup" at smb:/ But often there are nothing or only "Workgroup" and my "Archome" appear only after restarting nmbd and then smbd. http://bugsfiles.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=75147 My samba config: [global] workgroup = ARCHOME server string = Samba Server #security = share security = user load printers = yes printcap name = /etc/printcap printing = cups log file = /var/log/samba/%m.log max log size = 50 syslog only = yes interfaces = 192.168.1.2/24 #os level = 64 os level = 33 dns proxy = no domain master = yes [Видео] path = /mnt/media/Видео comment = Video Folder wide links = no guest ok = yes hide files = .directory/ veto files = .directory/ veto oplock files = .directory/ hide special files = yes hide unreadable = yes [Музыка] path = /mnt/media/Музыка comment = Audio Folder wide links = no guest ok = yes hide files = .directory/ veto files = .directory/ veto oplock files = .directory/ hide special files = yes hide unreadable = yes [Фото] path = /mnt/media/Картины comment = Photos wide links = no guest ok = no hide files = .directory/ veto files = .directory/ veto oplock files = .directory/ hide special files = yes hide unreadable = yes [Разное] path = /mnt/media/Разное comment = Other wide links = no guest ok = yes hide files = .directory/ veto files = .directory/ veto oplock files = .directory/ hide special files = yes hide unreadable = yes [printers] path = /var/spool/samba comment = All Printers browseable = no guest ok = no writable = no printable = yes #use client driver = yes |

The problem was solved putting them all in the same work group. Not sure though if that could be considered as a fix.
