I'm unable to reproduce it. Can someone else confirm it?

It seems it fails only when in "Detailed List View". Never thought it would be that specific :/

Confirmed on i686/Gnome 3.6.2

No error messages when starting from terminal, however.

Drag and drop only fails in 'Detailed list' view and if the location is a subfolder. Drag/drop to folders in the Places shortcuts on the left still works.

It doesn't seem to be our issue. Could you report it to the upstream?
