Details
On upgrading virtualbox, old DKMS modules are not removed.
When trying to remove these manually, an error occurs:
# dkms remove -m vboxhost -v 4.2.2 --all Error! Could not locate dkms.conf file. File: does not exist. This was from an upgrade from 4.2.2-1 to 4.2.4-1. A workaround is to create /usr/src/vboxhost-4.2.2 and copy dkms.conf from the new 4.2.4 before running that command. After doing so, the directory and dkms.conf can be removed again. Attached is a fix from https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/DKMS#How_to_create_.install_.2F_dkms.conf_files.3F |

This issue is linked to pacman bug which doesn't give old version
to upgrade script and doesn't allow dkms to remove old driver on
upgrade...
