I've noticed, that my daily backup fails because bzip2,
which is in base, doesn't have large file support
implemented.
I think, this is an very important feature of bzip2 and should be implemented in the official bzip2. I've created a PKGBUILD which compiles bzip2 with large files support. -> http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?K=bzip2-lf Sincerely dma147 |

I've added LF support to Arch's bzip2 package. You can remove the
bzip2-lf one from the AUR now, if you like.
