Description: PHP crashes in *XML functions


Additional info:

* config and/or log files etc.

php-fpm logs containing:
[07-Aug-2012 21:14:54] WARNING: [pool www] child 27363 exited on signal 11 (SIGSEGV) after 450.513408 seconds from start

Kernel logs containing:

There is a patch for it at this php bug report, https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=61557 , which I also attached to this report.

Everything in the php bug report and the linked debian report summs up what is happening here too.

Could this patch be applied to php in extra, until upstream gets it included ?
