Starting gimp I get the following message: GEGL-geglmodule.c-Message: Module '/usr/lib/gegl-0.2/ff-load.so' load error: /usr/lib/gegl-0.2/ff-load.so: undefined symbol: av_open_input_file I suppose this needs a rebuild with latest gcc. Additional info: gegl 0.2.0-2 |

As for the original issue, gegl needs to be patched to work with the current ffmpeg. It looks that the simple rebuild that was done isn't enough.
