Description:
The mouse does not work well in virtual box (it jump out of the emulated windows before reaching the edge and some problems alike) (archlinux as guest, host Windows XP). I have seen that the virtual box module vboxmouse_drv.so is missing in the latest 4.1.18-1 release (it was present some time ago) and Xorg use evdev instead. Probably evdev is not that good at this job. This module should be present: it is present in the official .iso guest addition, though I did not try to install it. Additional info: * package version(s) virtualbox-archlinux-additions 4.1.18-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: |

Yes, that's intended. vboxmouse_drv is no longer required. As of
VBox 4.1.4 there is a kernel driver for mouse events.
Euh... You are apparently right. I was still using an old
xorg.cong file. With a new one, all is working properly. Sorry...
