Details

Pacman should 'trust' a package specified on the commandline (a target) over the installed version.

eg, if kdebase and kdelibs 3.0.2 are installed, kdebase depends on kdelibs=3.0.2. But if the user is installing kdelibs/base 3.0.7, they get this error during the removal of the old package:

unresolvable conflicts: kdebase requires kdelibs=3.0.2
