suggests three configure options:
--enable-notify
--enable-oss
--with-oss-include-path

The second and the third can be safely omitted (we assume ALSA). But the first one: `--enable-notify' seems to be a very basic and fundamental. Well, a standard one. I wonder why isn't it present?
