Can you please add optional Broadcom Crystal HD support to xbmc package ?

It can be added easily by adding AUR packages crystalhd-git and libcrystalhd-git as optional dependencies, and adding --enable-crystalhd configure flags to PKGBUILD.

Thanks in advance.

I will test with the attached PKGBUILD on two machines :

- one with broadcom crystalhd chip, and intel GPU
- the other with nvidia GPU, but without crystal hd chip

I think it should work without problem on both, I'll let you know as soon as I can do the test.
   PKGBUILD (3.6 KiB)

Sorry, I was wrong, build failed on the computer with no crystalhd chip with the following error :

checking libcrystalhd/libcrystalhd_if.h usability... no
checking libcrystalhd/libcrystalhd_if.h presence... no
checking for libcrystalhd/libcrystalhd_if.h... no
configure: error: == Could not find libcrystalhd. CrystalHD support disabled. ==
==> ERROR : Error in build().
Abandon...
==> ERROR: Makepkg failed to build xbmc.

You can cancel my feature request.

It is working fine with crystalhd, but to build, libcrystalhd must be installed (obviously).

i'll keep this in mind when frodo becomes very hot, but providing dependencies i can't really test is not my favourite thing
