After updating to kernel 3.3.1-1 (i686), /proc/net/ip_conntrack is not found anymore.

All nf_conntrack* modules are loaded and conntrack itself is working.

Since /proc/net/ip_conntrack is marked as deprecated, i am not sure if this is really a bug, so sorry for probably filing a mistake.

This is disabled by compiling without CONFIG_NF_CONNTRACK_PROCFS enabled. As the replacement (conntrack-tools) has been around since 2007, is the old procfs interface still needed? It might be a good thing to migrate this package from community to extra or core though.

Well, Kernel 3.3.2-1-ARCH did not fix the problem. However, it would be nice to get back the /proc interface, since there is some software out there which seems to still need it. Even conntrack-tools:

# conntrack -S
conntrack v1.0.1 (conntrack-tools): Can't open /proc interface

Please bring it back to the stock kernel, it doesn't hurt much i think. Thanks.

This also breaks the netstat-nat package in community for example.
