During installation the Colemak layout is found here:
/usr/share/kbd/keymaps/i386/colemak/en-latin9.map.gz After installation the Colemak layout is found here: /usr/share/kbd/keymaps/i386/colemak/colemak.map.gz During the installation process (step 7: "Configure system") setting KEYMAP in /etc/rc.conf to "colemak" is automatically changed to "en-latin9". After installation the filename has changed, resulting in that loading the keymap fails during the boot process. Changing KEYMAP in /etc/rc.conf from "en-latin9" to "colemak" at this point resolves the issue. |
