audacity dies with the following output:

configure: error: "Could not find zip - needed to create the help file"
make: *** No targets specified and no make file foundf. Stop.

This is because of a compile-time dep: zip, I've added a #comment in the PKGBUILD. This is paculiar as most pkgs use gunzip not zip. Anyhow, thanks for the note.
