Details
Summary and Info:
In the man page it is written that makepkg allows passing the command line parameter "--noprogressbar" to pacman to suppress showing the download progress bar. Executing makepkg with the said option causes makepkg to exit abnormally. The option itself works properly on pacman. Installed pacman version is 4.0.1-4 Steps to Reproduce: In any directory with a PKGBUILD, executing "makepkg --noprogressbar" causes the following terminal output. Note that nothing follows after the colon in the last line: ==> Making package: <pkgname> <pkgver> (Fr 20. Jan 12:51:37 CET 2012) ==> Checking runtime dependencies... error: invalid option ==> ERROR: 'pacman' returned a fatal error (1): |
