Not certain that this problem constitutes a bug but alsa-xmms, after building, reports:

Finished making: alsa-xmms (Sun Nov 23 15:17:02 EST 2003)
Running pacman --upgrade

This is because alsa-xmms is now in xmms so you don't need alsa-xmms anymore. We will remove it soon
