Clementine 1.0 should include support for Spotify, which
isn't the case.
It is certainly due to libspotify being available only in AUR [1], not in community. libspotify should become supported and this feature should be added. [1] https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=33594 |

In the meantime, here is a comment I found on a related discussion saying that libspotify isn't needed:

It's normal that it works only with Premium accounts [1].
