After upgrading xf86-video-intel to 2.17.0-2, I get frequent
hangs (as in, within 3 minutes of powering up). If it
doesn't hang immediately after logging in, I can trigger a
hang by switching VTs. I've attached the error message that
I get from dmesg. I couldn't find any other error messages
in the log files (including everything.log and
Xorg.*.log.old). Downgrading to 2.17.0-1 fixes the
problem.
This is on a ThinkPad x200, whose graphics chip is Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series, according to lspci. I'm running 64-bit arch. |

maybe you didn't do a full update of your system?
- xf86-video-intel
- libdrm
- linux
- intel-dri
Those are tied together quite closely, so you might want to check which of them were upgraded lately.
