Details

Please add the following lines to PKGBUILD to install a desktop file and icon for GPSBabel's GUI:
# Install desktop file and icon
install -Dm644 gui/images/appicon.png "$pkgdir/usr/share/pixmaps/gpsbabel.png"
install -Dm644 "$srcdir/gpsbabel.desktop" "$pkgdir/usr/share/applications/gpsbabel.desktop"

The package doesn't contain a desktop file, so I recommend to use this file, which used by Fedora:
