FS#2635 - Conflict between iputils package and ipsec-tools
|
DetailsThe iputils package include a man page for setkey, but does not include setkey itself. This was discovered when I created a PKGBUILD for ipsec-tools, which includes both setkey and its man page. Furter investigation revealed that the iputils source now includes racoon, setkey, and libipsec, which are the components of ipsec-tools. The Arch package patches the source so that these binaries are not compiled, but does not exclude the related man page.
There are, therefore, two questions: 1. Why does Arch not include racoon, setkey, and libipsec in the iputils package, as per the source? 2. In line with their current exclusion, why does Arch not also exclude the related man pages? |
