Description:
I'm using xfce and since the update to pavucontrol 1.0 it doesn't respect the gtk theme that is defined in the appearance settings and instead has a default look that something is wrong.

I have traced it to pavucontrol being built with gtk3 support, currently it is explicitly enabled in the PKGBUILD but it will be implicitly enabled if nothing is said, building it with the --disable-gtk3 configure option makes it look properly again.

I guess that this would break pavucontrol for users of the latest gnome, so as it is now I'd say it will be broken for either set of users and it is probably an upstream bug. I'm opening this bug report to raise awareness of this as more users are bound to stumble upon this.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
pavucontrol 1.0-1

Steps to reproduce:
Open pavucontrol and compare how it looks against all the other gtk2 apps or the previous pavucontrol version.

if you have a theme that has support for both gtk2 and gtk3 it will respect it. try it with adwaita theme from gnome-themes-standard
