Currently 'extra/bind' has GSSAPI-authenticated DNS updates enabled with "--with-gssapi", but the client program "nsupdate" from 'core/dnsutils' does not.

Since they're built from the same source tarball, would it be possible to move "nsupdate" to the 'bind' package and compile with --with-gssapi? A separate 'nsupdate' package would work as well (I'm not entirely sure when split packages are to be used).

(I'm not asking to enable --with-gssapi for 'dnsutils', since the other programs -- dig, host, nslookup -- do not actually use krb5 in any way, but would get linked against it nevertheless.)

That's a good point. Moving nsupdate to bind also makes sense because it's meant for users who are maintaining zones rather than just querying them. (And I don't want to split things up to the point that each utility has its own package.)
