Description:
I downloaded pacman 4 from Dan McGee's link on the 11th here, pacman -U http://dev.archlinux.org/~dan/pacman-4.0.0rc1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.gz. On my first pacman -Syu, The output reads starting full system upgrade, warning pacman (local) is newer that pacman {core}. Then I am asked if I want to replace wireshark-svn with extra/wireshark-gtk? I answer no, and then I am asked if I would like to replace wireshark-svn with every single package in extra following wireshark in alphabetical order, wnck-sharp..zziplib. There is no error appearing running pacman -Syuv --debug. Running pacman -Syu --ignore wireshark-svn saved me from having to type 'n' 50 or so times, but the message ignore replacement package xyz message still appeared. Steps to reproduce: I am able to pacman -Syu and if pacman encounters a replacement package, it will cycle through the rest database before continuing on. |
