Details

Description: There is no panel. Nothing can be done, as Alt-F2 does not work, i.e., Arch LXDE becomes useless. I could access using ssh and downgrade from lxpanel-0.5.7-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz to lxpanel-0.5.6-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz
, and now, it is completely functional.

* package version(s) New (not working) lxpanel-0.5.7-1-i686; old (working very well) lxpanel-0.5.6-1-i686.


Steps to reproduce: Just boot and login. Desktop and session-starting applications ok, but noting else. Even shutdown or reboot, only by ssh or powering-off by hand..

Just updated to lxpanel 0.5.7-2, that fixes the start menu crash, update your system and see if the new version goes.

This is posibly because you use the network status plugin (see https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/25270), anyway it's fixed in 0.5.7-2.
