Description: perlbin.csh as shipped with perl 5.14-1
includes unintended linewraps, with the effect that running
this script causes $PATH to become unset. For users who use
tcsh as their login shells this means that commands cannot
be used without their full pathnames, causing widespread
apparent failures.
I've taken the liberty of marking this as "high" priority since it causes real problems and is simple to fix. I do realise that tcsh users like me are (and should be!) in the minority, but some of us are just incorrigible... I have attached a corrected perlbin.csh Additional info: * package version(s) core/perl-5.14-1 * config and/or log files etc. /etc/profile.d/perlbin.csh Steps to reproduce: * install perl-5.14-1 * log in to new tcsh shell * errors will appear onscreen and commands will be unavailable |

This has been fixed in perl 5.14.1-3 which will move to [core]
along with the DB 5.2 rebuilds.
