DetailsDescription:
it seems like the following needs to be changed: PK_BACKEND_DEFAULT_CACHEDIR = $(localstatedir)/cache/pacman/pkg to PK_BACKEND_DEFAULT_CACHEDIR = $(localstatedir)/cache/pacman/pkg/ problem was solved by editing /etc/PackageKit/alpm.d/pacman.conf adding: CacheDir = /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: use packagekit to install packages this is there for a long time yet, just didnt notice it before # pwd /var/cache/pacman #ls pkg pkgkdegames-libkdegames-4.6.3-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz pkgogmrip-0.13.6-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz pkga52dec-0.7.4-5-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz pkgkdegraphics-gwenview-4.6.2-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz pkgopenexr-1.7.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz ... |
