Description: Having timestamps in kernel log output (dmesg)
is a useful feature for determining which lines are related,
figuring out what part of an error is from suspend or
resume, debugging boot-time delays, etc. This cannot be done
with syslog timestamps.
Debian, Fedora and Ubuntu have it enabled by default. |
