Description:
GnuCash installs a desktop file which associates it with mime types but doesn't rebuild the cache database for such associations via update-desktop-database.
Please make sure "update-desktop-database -q" gets run after install/upgrade/remove and add a dependency to desktop-file-utils if not already satisfied.

Rebuilding the package, and moving to [testing] please can you use [testing] repository ? the package got like two weeks or more on [testing] and this got reported just today when got released, so in favour of moving _buggy_ packages to [extra] and improving Arch would you mind for _this_ time use [testing] ?

I'm not sure if I understood you right, but I'm already using [testing]. This update-desktop-database thing is a "minor" issue I found in several packages which I'm trying to clear out at the moment. I'm sorry that gnucash wasn't earlier on my list so you could fix that before the move. I'll test the package when it arrives and report back.

"update-desktop-database -q" is still missing in post_remove()
GnuCash is running fine here, changing the install script shouldn't affect that.
