Description: logwatch fails to parse new-style rsyslog log
entries. This can be resolved by making rsyslog spit out
old-style messages, or to patch logwatch to support the new
messages.
Old style May 28 14:14:46 HOSTNAME ... New style: 2008-05-28T14:14:46.316223-04:00 HOSTNAME ... Red-hat bugzilla entry: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=583607 The following patch enables logwatch to parse the new-style messages (tested it myself): https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=407611&action=diff Additional info: * package version(s): logwatch at 7.3.6-5, rsyslog at 5.6.0-1 |
