Description:
freetype2 has a bug which causes poppler to miss some fonts in a pdf. It's been reported to poppler's bug tracker[1] and a dev reported it to freetype2 devs.

A fix has been added in the freetype2's git repo[2]. I tried that patch and now okular correctly displays the missing mathematical characters. A pdf displaying the problem is available[3] (saddly only under subscription).

I don't know exactly Arch's politics about that, but until a new freetype2 is released, could the patch be applied to Arch's package?

Thanks

Additional info:
* package version(s)
freetype2 2.4.4-1.1
poppler 0.14.5-1
kdegraphics-okular 4.5.4-1
