Description:
I today upgraded from xf86- xf86-video-intel-2.12.0-3- to xf86-video-intel-2.13.0-4. After restarting X i get the following errors . In the console it prints intel_bufmgr_gem.c:1076: Error setting domain 12 : Input/Output Error intel_bufmgr_gem.c:1076: Error setting domain 9 : Input/Output Error (EE) intel(0): Detected a hung GPU, disabling acceleration. The xorg log errors are. (EE) intel(0): Detected a hung GPU, disabling acceleration. My intel chip is 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82946GZ/GL Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02) I have this error both in i686 and AMD64 architecture. Downgrading to xf86- xf86-video-intel-2.12.0-3 solves the problem. Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: |

downgrading to 2.12 resolve the problem

niQo what you have do in order to apply the posted patch?
So fixed in xf86-video-intel 2.14.0-2 for me.
