Details
Description: When I click on a video (like mkv files) to be
opened with VLC, my CPU is sucked at 100% by mplayer which
seems to be used to create the thumbnails.
I have to "killall mplayer" several times to really get rid of it for this time. |

Cannot reproduce with avi and 3gp files. Did you try
kdemultimedia-ffmpegthumbs too?

I couldn't find in the menu what Christoph Feck from KDE meant.
Now thanks to you, I understand. I'll keep you posted now that
I've activated ffmpeg for the thumbnails.

I tested ffmpeg for a while and now I'm back with mplayer and I
haven't experienced the bug so far. Can't say why. I'm still on
it.
