Description:
Lots of my apps (pygtk powered specifically) were not working this morning after the python 3 update (pacman -Syu). They were unable to locate /usr/bin/python2 (which didn't exist) and "pacman -Ql python2" didn't list it either. After running "pacman -Sy python2 --asdeps" (manually forcing an update) the executable /usr/bin/python2 appeared. Additional info: * package version(s) python2 2.7-2 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: pacman -Syu launch a python2-specific app (sonata, terminator, ccsm, etc) - it crashes pacman -Sy python2 --asdeps launch a python2-specific app - it works |
